Worst stay ever! We were constantly threatened with being kicked out. We were accused of having a mattress in front of our camper, when we didn't even have mattresses in the camper, and we were told our site was complained about in reviews, that we never found. The manager, Tiffany, was rude to my family anytime we had to deal with her. She said people complained that our dogs barked all night, which they didn't and again there are no reviews of anyone staying near our site, saying that. We were judged because we were in an older pop-up camper that she thought brought down the look of the campgrounds. We were told multiple times that they were sold out, even though we had made it clear we would be staying for a while and even went up and talked with them about it. For Labor Day weekend, we were told they were sold out and we had to leave, yet we booked a reservation online that they had to honor. She threatened to kick us out because we didn't have a car with a hitch. Tiffany stated it was a rule of the park but could never provide proof of such rule. They knew that if they kicked us out we would be homeless. We have been trying to find a place to live since we moved up here in June, but we didn't realize how big of a housing shortage there is here. She constantly complained about how our site looked, even though it was clean, neat, and orderly. She found any reason she could to give us problems, including having anything delivered, yet she never said anything about all of the others staying here that got deliveries to their campsite. She was constantly rude, yelled at me multiple times, and talked to me like I was stupid. Her assistant manager was just as bad. When you would ask them a question about the multiple lies they would say to find a way to get rid of us, they would yell and act as though me asking a simple question was being rude and disrespectful. The worst experience I've ever had in my life. Save your money and time, stay at Adventure Bound Camping in Cape Cod. They may not have as many activities or amenities, but they care about their campers and are always nice and polite. It was so bad that the Town of Middleboro helped us find a place to stay just to get away from the unfair treatment we received.
The only good thing I can say is Sabrina was amazing. Her activities were fun and engaging. She was friendly and actually made us feel welcomed.
We arrived late, and someone was in our spot (they were nice). A worker came and cleared them out, only for us to discover we were on a hill too steep for our camper.
Moved in the morning, ended up next to a guy with 2 large unfriendly dogs on long leads, and he didn't clean up after them. The staff handled this quickly and amazingly
Last night was peaceful. We were rushed out of the nearly empty site, but that just got us home quicker.
Bathrooms were clean on the 2nd and 3rd nights. Jump pillow was a big hit with the children, who were all well-behaved and quiet. The store was well stocked. Most of the people seem to be regulars and were super awesome. They have regular activities.
Overall, we had a great time and hope to visit again. The staff was great.
We stayed here for 2 nights in a back in site. It is such a quiet campground. Staff was so nice. Bathrooms were so clean. Showers were great. We did some laundry, which was well maintained. It was so hot that we didn't get a chance to explore the whole campground. We would love to stay here again.
We arrived the Friday before Labor Day, it was packed with families with kids, they had a blast. Very organized with planned crafts and fun for the whole family. Great park, lots of helpers that keep it immaculate! Lots if activities for kids and their parents. Perfect for families and we old people enjoyed it too!
We had a wonderful day Halloween weekend at the middleboro KOA. Every employee was extremely helpful and friendly. I will say however, that one employee delivered our wood very early in the morning and I saw that same employee working the "haunted trail" that same evening at 7 pm. I jokingly made the comment that she was working overtime and that must be a good paycheck. She informed me that she worked her 8-hour shift and then was sent home. Only to return for a second shift without overtime. I recommended that the employees unionize. I think it's really sad that In this day and age, corporate businesses have not caught up with the rest of the country. If you have a good worker you should pay them overtime, not send them home to avoid paying them what they are worth. I hope that will change in the future for KOA employees.
We are a military and don’t get much time to have quality experiences as a family. We were so excited to take our dogs and stay in a cabin. We paid extra to be more secluded as our dogs are much older and need calm. This was a waste of money because we were put right in the middle of other cabins over the campground septic system. It’s all we smelled the whole time. Kids walked right through our sight and we basically had to sit right next to the people in the next cabin to be at our fire pit. The wall next to the bed in the cabin had water running down it when it rained. There were people who clearly stay there in their campers all summer that had dogs who would not stop barking. Our dogs were so freaked out we left a day early. The amount of times they came to our site on their golf carts to do a circle around us made us feel extremely uncomfortable. This was the worst camping experience we’ve ever had. It’s also right next to a major road so we heard traffic and sirens constantly. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Worst camp ground ever! DONT waste your money on camping here. My family got yelled at so many times and the manager Tiffany was rude, they don't care that kids run wild and bully other kids and even bully adults. Some staff try to handle it but other staff just ignored it. I'm pregnant and got yelled at for walking in empty campsites to go to the bathroom when I really couldn't hold it. We got told that we had a mattress outside even though we never had a mattress in our camper. Go to adventure bound cape cod camp ground they actually care about people and will work with you. Also they have bigger lots.
If you know what site you want, get ready to pay a "Lock" fee. If you are prepaying for your site it make no sense that they charge a lock fee. I think they should just say that they have found a way to charge you more. BTW the lady that explained this silliness to me was very very nice and professional. I look forward to staying at what looks to be a very nice place. We will see.
